1. Improvement with City’s System of Parks

   1. Adopt Highway Program

   2. Adopt low-impact design standards in parks and trails that infiltrate water

   3. Allocation of funds for Parks, green spaces, water features, and trails for areas where new development is planned

   4. Maximize the percent of city green space within a two-minute walk of city offices

   5. Low maintenance turf management; native landscaping, organic pest management, monarch-safe policies

   6. Recycling/compostables collection; use of compost as a soil amendment

   7. Sources of nonportable water, or surface/rain water for irrigation.
